Straight up, I love SNL. If you've ever been involved in any way with this show I've probably looked at all your instagram pictures and gushed to my sister about how cute and funny I think you are. I LOVE IT. When I went to NYC in 2010 I lined up to see the Jeff Bridges/Eminem episode...I did not get in cos I was an idiot and didn't get a standby ticket early enough. I have learned from my mistake and I will see it live next time. I am determined.

I love it so much that my obsession has rubbed off onto the people closest to me. I am not even sorry
It impresses me so much that these people can write and rehearse an hour long show in a week and roll out so many excellent sketches/jokes and adoreableless (is that a word? dont care) I know sometimes the sketches are a big ol flop but I love every version of the cast so much that it doesn't matter to me.
My only SNL issue is the lack of diversity in the cast. It's 2013 and there are no funny black women? Really Lorne? The new cast as of season 39 are all skinny white dudes and one skinny white girl. I mean, yeah they are very funny (especially Noel!) but why all white people.
They did make fun of themselves in the Kerry Washington ep because the beautiful Kerry had to play 1000 black ladies because there was no other ladies who could in the cast but they could have 6 different Matthew McConaugheys. I really hope this means SNL has recognized their problem and can FIX IT next season. I love white dudes as much as the next people but it's totally time for equal representation on TV.
A lot of people I know just kinda gave up on SNL when Tina Fey/Amy Poehler/any number of famous comedians left, often to get their own shows. But I totes luv the cast. Any version of the cast. My favourite two new-ish cast members are Aidy Bryant and Cecily Strong. If you follow me ANYWHERE on the internet this will be no secret. They are so funny and beautiful and their friendship on the internet is hella cute. The girls are killing it this season. They are all consistently hilarious and the real stars of the show. Although if you ask my sister it's Taran Killam and I kinda agree. He had such huge shoes to fill when Fred/Andy/Jason/Fred/Will left. I watch old episode on Netflix and forgot how much I really do love those dudes but Taran is doing amazingly and fills the void left in my heart by those goofy/handsome losers.

And if you were wondering, my favourite host/episode ever is any time Justin Timberlake hosts. Especially the ones that have the Barry Gibb Talk Show in them because DAMN he's funny and so is Fallon. (heart eyes for days).
